Reflections on 2011

I was going to wait until the end of the year to do this, but I'm already in the reflective mood now and might as well get my thoughts out so I don't have to keep thinking about them.

2011.

I was almost going to say that this was the worst year of my life. And it was, until the end of the year brought many surprises. I passed my candidacy exam

And even more happy you're making some friends around you! That's a great start! I'm a little jealous I admit. I do miss you, and I always hear for you. But it's really helpful to know you have people nearby who care about you. Especially in hard times like these.

So, hopefully now you see no matter what is thrown at you, you'll manage and you can make it to the top! ^___~ Never forget that love!

I guess I never really got a chance to say this, but you never really got a chance to tell me either...it's been a busy end of the year I suppose...but - congratulations!!! On the day of your candidacy exam, I was scared to text you and was hoping you'd just tell me how it went yourself haha. Anyways, best of luck moving forward!

Aww thanks Flard. Sorry I forgot to text--it was kinda crazy chaotic and my mind wasn't fully functional after it was over so I think I only told the people who asked me directly lol. Plus I wasn't exactly sure where you were in med school exam chaos.
