* It's interesting that you are indifferent to both Glenfiddich and Glenlivet, since they are rather different. Glenlivet is definitely on the jet-fuel end of the texture spectrum, whereas Glenfiddich is more velvety.

* It's a pretty safe bet that if you like Lagavulin you'll like Laphroig as well.
