I thought I was breaking an addiction

I have mostly envied their longer nails. I've been a nail bitter all my life. I've seen worse, but I have never been able to get mine to any presentable length. Most of the time I don't even know I've chewed one off ( Read more... )

I love the pink over Savage teal and the cyberman silver. I'm kind of jealous of your for having a change that involves NOT doing something. As you know, all of my major flaws (and most of my minor ones) are of the omission variety.

Love and Luck!

Ooh, that's pretty! I love teal polishes too! And my nails certainly aren't much longer than yours. I don't bite them, they're just weak and sad. ;) I love Sinful Colors, but it is frustrating that they don't tell you if it's matte or jelly or cream or whatever. Nail blogs to the rescue. LOL

Nail blogs! Oh no! I just discovered nail art tutorials on YouTube! I had heard that homemade bar soap that you can get at farmers markets and places that sell handicrafts, is good for your nails. I don't know this from any personal experience, but it sounds easier than eating more jello. :-D

I think the jello thing is a myth, but from what I understand the best thing is to keep the cuticles/nailbed moisturized. My nails are thin and weak, and I've tried a bunch of things, but what seems to be helping it switching to non-acetone remover and using Essie's cuticle oil once or twice a day.

I don't actually follow any nail blogs, but when I'm thinking about buying a color I google it and find swatches and reviews on the blogs. LOL
