Whoa-it's possible that you and I have had this conversation before, amid nellisir's comments, but . . .

I clicked on your userinfo and noticed that our flists intersect in three otherwise unintersecting areas: llnaughty and erbie (the former's a college friend of my roommate), nellisir (a Bennington friend), and fafblog (the defunct blog of a friend/acquaintance of mine from Providence).

• I went to Bennington last weekend, though, for the last sliver of what would have been my tenth reunion if I'd showed up for the whole thing. Sad not to see the good friends who'd been up earlier; weird to be there, of course. Pretty beautiful, though.
  
  I'm trying to think if I saw anybody you knew. Lessee . . . Les Talma and Mary Saunders, did you know them? They seemed same as ever. Kerry Woods, who I never studied with but you might have. The new buildings are big; the lawn houses are still disreputable.


• Work is horrible right now. Just too much to do.


• I seem to have forgotten how to write. I'm trying to do some writeups for a one-shot I want to run-the four character backgrounds plus a blurb-and it just ain't coming. Part of that is that there are things I'm dubious about, re this one-shot (it's a big ol' King Arthur ripoff, uh, "homage"), but don't feel like changing. Enh, it'll happen.
