Mmm. Bark. Is it strong or brittle? (Sometimes bark is useful in miniatures terrain making.) The wood actually sounds really neat to work with.

Relatively strong, but inflexible and heavily corrugated. The fallen limb is about 25' long, and I cut a 12" section from it, about 4"-5" in diameter, just to play around with. The bark popped off the branch without too much difficulty. I'll probably take pictures soon, just to show what I've got.
