Vanilla Twilight
Chapter 1
-Tora’s POV-
Time heals everything
That’s what I thought.
It’s been 2 years since you left me.
It’s been 2 years since I tried to let you go... Let you rest in your peaceful sleep.
But I just can’t.
You know, I’ve been listening to Vanilla Twilight every day since that song released. I know that’s not my music, but that song just so true...
I just wish you were here

“Shinji… I have something to tell you…” his eyes looked really sad.
“What’s wrong?” I looked at him with worry face.
“I…I only have 2 months more to live.” He stuttered and bursted into tears.
He hugged me so tight while he cried in my chest.
I’m shocked... I don’t know what should I do. I just circled my arms on his back. How could that be real?
I don’t know.
What should I feel? Should I be angry? Or sad?
I rubbed his back slowly and calmed him as tears leaked from my eyes.

“TORAA!! You should find another guy!” Hiroto said while sipping his cola.
I hummed in return.
“Really, Tora! You can’t be a lone wolf forever!! He will be sad if you keep on acting like this...”
“I tried too Pon, I just can’t let anybody come and replace him...” I fasten my grip on the coffee can
“You are NOT replacing him with somebody else.” He poked my cheeks “You’re just searching for someone that you meant to be! Someone belongs to you.” He said with such concern tone. He always was.
Hiroto was always concern about us. He was the one that encouraged me to be with you.
“Meet me at the park tomorrow. There’s somebody that I want you to know.”
And he just left me alone. I don’t mind tough... you are here with me right?

“Tora this is Saga, Saga this is Tora.” Hiroto said as he took my hand and offered it to the man next to him.
“Hi, I’m Saga. How do you do?” This Saga guy smiled sheepishly and shook my hand.
“Hi.” I nodded at him.
“Your name sounds cool and strong.” Saga said to me in a weird tone, a flat but cheerful tone.
“It’s not my birth name.” I gave him a ‘seriously’ look.
“Now I’ll let you two know each other... I’m going back to my work.” Hiroto winked his eyes to us and dashed back to his work place.
“Well, let’s get known each other.” Saga smiled and sat on a park chair near us.
I Sighed. “Okay.” I followed him.
“So... are you bi?” He asked suddenly.
“No, I’m not interested with any kind of girls.”
“Oh great!! The same goes for me!!” He smiled brightly.
“Looks like Hiroto tried to put us together”
“Not really in his mind tough. I’ve always interested with you. But you seemed like you don’t really like getting close to new people. So I asked him if he could help me.” Saga blushed slightly.
“It’s not like I want to be alone… sorry if I made you think like that, I’m a little desperate lately... I think we can be friends.” I smiled at him.
I think I should start making friends.
You don’t want me to be alone too.

“Shinji please promise me something” he snuggled beneath his blankets
“Anything.”
“Stop acting like a lone wolf. You are not one! You need someone to lean on... everybody does.”
I took his hand and smiled, “I promise.”
“Thank you.” He smiled as he drifted to sleep
