Okay, so the last couple days haven't been entirely shit....just mostly shit, with a few perfect moments.

That's awesome! Congratulations! That is a really huge step. The next time you send out anything to a publisher, you can put this credit in your cover letter. That is huge, trust me. I'm still putting things on my cover letter that were published in the year 2000.
