When Ed's working and the kids are sleeping, I try to get in an hour or two of cardio by walking on the treadmill. Sounds boring? I liven it up by reading, listening to an audiobook or watching a movie on the laptop. How the heck do you think I got through Twilight? Or Australia? Also read lots of old Robin McKinley.

What about running outside? :D True, you can't read or watch TV, but you get fresh air and more variation and it's more entertaining!

Because of the kids, I couldn't leave the house 'grounds', but maybe I could run around my house for an hour...scaling the backyard fence would be really good exercise too, like pole vaulting. If the neighbors asked, I could tell them I just watched Zoom.

Robert Downey Jr. is great and I'm very glad they've casted him as Sherlock Holmes, but the trailer made it look like a total action flic. Am I wrong in thinking Sherlock Holmes should be something else?

John Lithgow plays a good sociopath. I've seem him in a movie or two with that role.

Have you considered yoga?

That's right, Mr. Big Booty was so scary in Buckaroo Banzai!

As far as exercise goes, yoga sucks the least, IMO.

Actually, we're watching Dexter on the DVDs - P buys the season when the box set comes out. We're into season 2 (watched season 1 when I was here at Christmas). Then onto Season 3 if it's out (I have no idea). I'm even considering subscribing to Showtime now that my 3 months free is up - of course during the entire three months there was nothing I wanted to watch. They started running dexter again about the time it ran out. Plus, I'd like to see Californification since it's David Duchovny.

Et tu, Cool! Season 2, then you know Lundy, and Doakes - aren't they great? He's back in Season 4, I'm so excited. I think that Season 3 comes out on DVD in August, or maybe it's out now. Show's great, with all that moral ambiguity and Dexter killing killers. Californification is neat too, but I'm behind on it.

We were just watching it last weekend and again tonight. I was too tired, though, so we only got a couple of episodes in.

I'm sure as soon as Season 3 is out, she'll order it. It really is a cool show, with a serial killer of serial killers.

It's funny - I was thinking about making a post to see if anyone else watched it, and then I saw yours.

And your icon is hysterical!

Fridays are tough movie/tv nights for me too. Often fall asleep in watching the tube.

You should still do that, the more fandoms we find in common with other f-listers, the more fun!

I saw that icon pop up a few times and had to have it - so fuunny.
