Damn. Yeah. When did TODD become the word of the people? I mean, I've listened to Tea Partiers speak on CNN, but some of this tripe is just terrifying.

I apologize for contributing to your malaise. The problem here, though, is not the links--it's the fact that these things are being said publically, and supported, at all.

We're in the 21st century. We've made so many advances. And in five years, we could have lost Roe vs. Wade, be officially compared to breeding animals that must be protected in proscribed ways, and disallowed birth control...the really horrifying thing for me? I keep thinking of Margaret Atwood's novel The Handmaid's Tale, and thinking it's no longer so implausible an idea.
