I am terrible at Mass Effect. I can't fight in the Mako worth shit. :[ I keep dying and I haven't even gotten the Asari yet, with whom I plan to have a ~zomg lesbian alien romance~. I don't even know if I'm on the right planet.

Haha thanks! I've been trying to avoid guides so I don't hit spoilers, but man. This crazy floppy car thing is super hard.

I really love the game though and am so glad to have my own copy finally. :D (I am unemployed so I don't own many games, but my mom/her SO let me pick out a few as early birthday prezzies!)

The Mako is notoriously hard to control, the fan reaction was so vehement they took out all vehicle controls in the sequel except for some DLC, and even that vehicle is light years ahead of the Mako. XDD

I don't mind using it to excavate, but yeah, it's mad difficult to fight in and I waste so much omni-gel to repair it only to have it smoking again in like...3-4 hits. :[

Yeah, I kinda gave up on Mass Effect because I couldn't find those stupid bombs in time at the beginning.. and then I was SO disappointed in the Landsmeet in DA that I just can't get myself to play another Bioware game. Everyone says they're amazing, but really they just strike me as kinda cliche... but maybe I've been spoiled by Valve games?

I think you just couldn't handle the fact that you couldn't find bombs because your lack of direction sucks. :P So you're taking it out on Mass Effect despite the fact that you know the game is awesome cos it's aliens and shit.

Maybe. But really the more I hear about it, the more it strikes me as DA with aliens instead of elves or something. RDR and pretty much anything by Valve seem much more creative and thought provoking. Bioware seem nice games for people who d0n't want to think, or are incapable of it. Everything is simple and at the surface.

They do make really fun characters, and they Get dogs like Rockstar Gets horses, but their plots... yeah. Good is good and Bad is bad and there is little to no grey.
