I met with the design company agaon today, this time for a second interview. I think I can honestly say I plan to cry big fat baby tears if there is some hiccough to getting this job. Dear niece-in-law:

I can't tell you how much good can come out of when something becomes unbearable enough to force you out of a comfortable rut, because you wouldn't believe me, but it is a good thing! Keep looking for the dream job--the big picture can only improve.... I was so proud of you when you pulled up stakes in NYC. What a brave thing to have done.

Changes will always be hard, but be grateful for that pea of annoyance. There are so many people who just stay for years and years in the same rut, never really pushing themselves. I have lots of experience at that risky kind of behavior, and today I am the luckiest dame in the world.
