Got TOEFL results :D (no paper yet, which I need to send along with my application, but the scores have been published online). Out of a maximum 30, I scored Reading 30, Listening 28, Speaking 28, Writing 28. Converted to scores based on a max 10, it means it's Reading 10, Listening 9.3, Speaking 9.3 and Writing 9.3 ( Read more... )

Yar :D I expected a 7.5-8 out of 10, actually. You know, decent, but starting from 9 I consider it pretty native. Though it's not even such a big part on the application, I'm still happy with it! Will poke and demand visits often, of course, when it comes to that!

Good scores. God you're such a nerd.
I probably wouldn't get scores that good. Though I'm willing to chalk that up to me being an idiot. But gefeliciflapstaart on them never-tha-less. ♥

Is this scary thing the rly expensive thing you told me about? The one where you may be eating crumpets on a regular basis?

They were really interesting subjects! Nazca-things and desert plant reproduction and something about Chicoan roads (I don't even know what Chicoans are, but oh well!), and archaeology things. Thanks though :D

That's the scary expensive thing! I think I may blow all of my money in the first week and then move to Camden the poorest area around, actually. But hey, we're not there yet :( First the tedious waiting, waiting, waiting.

Those are really good scores! Well done on that! :D Good luck with the next part! I hope you do make it, as it's what you want, isn't it? Even if it comes with the scary result of moving out XD;;

(I'm still afraid of moving out too, means I'd have to learn to cook ._.)

Yup! Illustration, and all the benefits that join it :D Moving out will probably, uh, be one of that. When I get used to it. And find a way to get healthy fastfood and quick three-minute laundry methods.

(Ew. Learning how to cook.)

Congratulations!

And living on your own is not scary. It's the best thing ever ;D

It's finding stuff out for the first two or three weeks, after that, it comes and feels naturally. You'll love it!

Speaking from first-hand experience? :D

I'm looking forward to the decorating. And being independent.

And probably will go back to hating the full independency when having to do the own laundry and cooking and cleaning.

I swear though, if I still don't make it into the course after all of this trouble and people and myself going yay about all of the application form parts turning out well, I'm going to cry or something.
