One of my favourite things to do is still to just space out out in the middle of the night while idly watching TV or reading and see what happens. If the moment is right, you get into "the zone". I'm not quite sure how to describe "the zone", but those of you who have been there will instantly know what I mean. When the world around me is quiet ( Read more... )

You're summer osunds totally sweet. Yay for travel!

I think I know what you mean about that feeling... you feel connected at an instant to the great machine of human existence. You feel surrounded by human life, but at the same time totally zoned out and disconnected. I usually don't like that feeling. It makes me feel like some inconsequential grinding cog or an ant. I don't know if this is your feeling, but that's how I feel when i get spaced out while watching TV at 3am. Maybe you're feeling is more organic.

okay, im going to tell you right now, I will NEVER SEE A MICHAEL BAY MOVIE AGAIN, I HATED EVERY SINGLE ONE OF HIS FILMS and I REFUSE to see transformers, now, wait, I've actually had the majority of my friends approve of it, I and one other person who is a game designer(sort of relevant) think that Bay should really just kill himself. Its a long story of why I feel this way about the film, but I have to tell you in person or over msn, and yes, i was called elitist too. haha

I enjoyed the movie, simply because I love Transformers and it was cool to see the characters on the big screen, hear the transforming sound, etc, and because there are a few cool scenes. Little of that is actually because of Michael Bay though, and whatever enjoyment I got from the movie doesn't contradict the fact that he's amazingly incompetent.
