Timely Oscars Commentary

Those arseholes left out Corey Haim of the In Memoriam part! I'm not surprised at all, but none the less pissed off. Show some bloody respect for the kids you chew up, at least, Hollywood.

It was a good film with great acting(btw. Timothy Spall was ingenious), but it wasn't actually anything special and really a little overly sentimental.
I couldn’t agree more! I’m glad Colin got that Oscar because he was amazing but the movie itself was definitely too sentimental and well… a little boring.

And I’m not surprised that Inception won only “technical” awards but I do feel bitter about the music, because The Social Network? SRSLY? Hans did so much much better job on Inception!

IKR! The music one hurts. If they got that, it would have been the film with the most Oscars and that would have been something. It wasn't just the sound editing that made this sound so good, people, it was actually some inspired composing! However a lot of the "artistic" Oscars didn't really make sense, so. :/

Yeah, it's still tied with TKS for the film with most Oscars, I think, but since TKS has all the important ones and Inception - not so much, it doesn't carry huge weight and no one cares to mention it.
