I know that a lot - if not 99% of you - disagree with current politics and the war in general. I disagree with it myself.

Best of luck to your brother! Mine just recently returned from Iraq and my best friend is over there now. I actually just sent her a care package because her birthday was 15th. This war is stupid and nasty but they're the ones at the forefront of it, experiencing the worst of the stupidity and nastiness. I wish the best to all of them!

I'm sure everyone knows someone who's serving. It's sad how many of them don't ever get any kind of contact with home at all.

You met the older one, this is the younger one... really though, they're so much alike it's hard to keep them straight sometimes... except that Jacob did not quite dip into the colossal well of fuck-up that Joshua did.

The last time I saw them both standing together they still looked enough alike to damn near be twins minus the two inches of height that Joshua had on Jacob - although that has apparently reversed at some point or another.
