I just got an offer for employment by the postal system yesterday (remember I took the test over a year ago), but the benefits aren't as nice and the hours would suck. Also, it was a temp-to-hire type of situation. Too bad I couldn't hand it over to you, but you'd have to find a way to take the postal exam by Monday, and they don't have any scheduled any time soon. Hey, if Jesse is a success at the postal system, you could be, too. Oh, but wait, you'd have to work with people, and you'd probably have a boss. Hopefully, he won't touch you, though.
I know you already said no, but you could always come to next job fair at Dell. It's really not all that bad. Plus you get medical benefits day one (well more like day 7) and they are pretty damn good and it's pretty good money if you can haggle the wage up.
On the Dell note, there's more than just sales there. Also several flavors of server support, a Linux team, and consumer desktop and laptop. Might be worth a look. Money's good, and the job is almost criminally easy.
