So, I found myself in a bad situation tonight. I was handcuffed, thrown in a squad car, searched, robbed of my belongings, and locked in a jail cell. My crime? I wanted better rates on car insurance

Same thing happened to me a few years ago. Almost word for word. Except, you left out my crying and promising not to be violent to Edmond PD if they let me make my phone call.

Apparently, if your old insurance notifies DPS that you dropped with them (which most insurances don't do), according to DPS they cannot process your new insurance unless you physically walk in with the paperwork.
