I have to agree with you on everything (even on Garden State! I don't understand all the hype.)....except about my beloved Doves. Maybe it's because I started by listening to their Lost Souls album, but I adore them. Went to their show this year and I was in a trance the whole time. It was magical.

I got the impression that they try so hard to sound like The Jam, and that usually irritates me (you know, all this new wave of bands like the Strokes that sound just like any band from the late 70's/early 80's). I never listened to any other of their albuns, my opinion was really just based on that one. But I love "Black and White Town", it's a beautiful song.

Garden State... rolleyes once again, lol.

Casablanca really is boring isn't it?! I only watched it because Lorelai and Rory watched it on Gilmore..that's how sad I am LOL
