It's like the ultimate creepy backstabber photo, isn't it? You can just imagine him listening and making notes for his book.
I'm not too convinced by Beatle mustaches, myself. As for Brian, I don't mean to sound disloyal but having seen those sideburns I rather doubt his ability to grow a convincing beard. As opposed to, dare I say, the aforementioned Brown, who had a rather nice beard...

OMIGAWD how I loved the 'burns! So overwhelmingly amusing! I've always thought I would not be able to resist wiggling my fingertips in them... how totally embarrassed would he have been then? LOL
I wish I could have been a fly on the wall the first time Lennon saw him with the 'burns. Or anyone else ~ most people would politely try to hide their WTF-faces, but at first glance they would go like ~ ?!?!?!?!
Poor Bri, could never quite pull off the mod look, could he...... hee hee hee.

Not quite, no. He was much better at the high-fashion elegance. Having said that, I think his longer hair towards the end of 67 looked very good on him.

BTW, I've always loved the Beatley 'stashes.
Back when they first grew them, everyone else was appalled except me.
I wonder if they would ever have been able to convince Brian to grow one. Or a beard. That would have rocked.
Of course, then he would think he looked "too Jewish," I imagine. *groan*
And it would be just like Lennon to realize that ~ and torture him about it.

I see John's being his usual shy, retiring self. I wish the guy had just spoken up for himself occasionally.
Oh, wait... ;)

Ringo had that weird fluffy hairdo on "All You Need Is Love." What was that all about anyway?
