even if i have no classes today, and only 3 or 4 hours of actual interpreting work, monday still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

i get the feeling it's gonna be a long week.

really though, my 2-3 class tends to end early, so i should be fine.

oh i also love how safari doesn't actually tell you you're not connected to the internet, just that it can't connect to the server.

i had orientation for DAS yesterday, so that was my official start date. the three of us who were hired had all worked as student interpreters here already; the interpreter who was our guide said something like "this was the easiest orientation ever." we had several hours of learning about benefits like health insurance and retirement. i have a ton ( Read more... )

so i managed to get an A in japanese. not really sure how... but my gpa is grateful. my other three classes are B's. well, i know two of the three are B's. the last should be a B but could possibly be a C.
