So I woke up at 2:30 in the morning... was having minor contractions every 10 minutes, so stayed up the rest of the morning timing them to see if anything changed. Then, after Tom left for work, I started vomitting. loads. I couldn't even keep down water. Contractions kept coming at regular 10 minute intervals throughout the day. The midwife

Are you overdue? I forget when your actual due date was/is? To get things going you can always take a bumpy car ride, or have lots of sex! Sorry, I know it's weird to hear, but once you've had a kid, pretty much nothing grosses you out anymore. You'll know when you're in REAL labour, trust me. Hope you are feeling better though, and that things go smoothly when it's actually time. Can't wait to hear all the details!!

haha! yeah, we've tried everything in the book, really. As of now I'm 4 days overdue according to the docs... but 8 by my own calculations... and I know I'm right! ;) The latest they can let me go is the 7th, but honestly, I don't want to wait that long! I'm not really suffering or anything - just biding my time and getting crafty(!!!)- but apparently there's a chance the kid's too big for me already... either that or there's just a lot of amniotic fluid. Eh. We'll see. And I'll definitely keep everyone posted! Thanks for your message. It made me giggle :)
