Thanks Lys. My mom called just now and told me Ace had a fever of 104 and that the vet gave them some medicine to give him. Also told her that she should try giving Ace some soft food for a little bit to see if he'll eat more. He's a small dog that only weights 5 lbs or so. Such a high fever for the little guy. They are taking him home now and he should be fine.
My family was going to visit me next month but had to cancel their trip because my work schedule wouldn't allow me to be with them. Then Ace gets sick. I guess everything happens for a reason. The money they would have spent preparing to visit me is now going to Ace. While I'm still sad they won't be coming up and that this is happening at home, I'm glad they're able to take care of Ace for me.

When a pet gets sick, it's always really upsetting. My kitty had to have her teeth taken out and I cried, but she's super happy. Maybe he ate something that didn't go down well? I'm sure he'll be okay. Being a freelance artist is about struggles. I know if you want to pick up quick commissions, you can scowl around deviantart's forums to see if someone posts a wanted commission.

Waaahhh, why do you sound so mature and grown up than me? xD *hugs* thanks for the kind words. I don't get mail from a lot of people. I have two letters I haven't sent out yet. And since I'm moving in August its best I don't get any new mail till I'm finished moving.

Maybe one weekend I'll need to swing by and kidnap ace and give him lots of love an affection. Sounds like he's missing his mama. I wish so badly I could offer you some money like last time, but I fear I'm in a money predicament as well. But you're so strong, Savi. I could never do what you've done. You've moved out, kept a steady job, and haven't lost your mind yet.
