Bitter Sweet Honey
It’s a peaceful morning in SHINee’s dorm. Key, Jonghyun, Minho and Taemin are having their delicious breakfast. Taemin eyes were still sleepy. He rubs it many times for making his vision clear.
“Where is Jinki-hyung?” asked Taemin to Key.
Key replied Taemin’s sight lazily. Why people keep asking Jinki’s appearance to him? For god sake, Jinki is mature enough for coming home late, especially when he had to over work.
“He will come home soon, Minnie,” Key said with smile.
“But we have an early schedule, eomma,” Taemin said with wide eyes.
“Onew-hyung said that we will meet him at location. He is on manager-hyung house. He slept there,” Jonghyun said while he is checking his phone.
“Onew said that?” Key asked to Jonghyun.

“Why he didn’t say it to me?” Key mumbled grumpily.
Jonghyun is rolling his eyes while Taemin and Minho are exchanging their sight with big grin on their mouth.

The rest is laughing so hard until the voices are echoing to all over dorm’s room. Key slapped Jonghyun’s head and glared Minho and Taemin. They locked their mouth spookily, but Jonghyun still giggles.

“Shut your mouth, raptor! Or this hot soup will be poured on your crotch,” key said make Jonghyun lock his mouth.

He showered himself with strawberry liquid. He was surprised because Minho was inside the dressing room with Key. That was unusually. He knew that Minho and Key would never be as close as the other. Key is looking at Taemin dyed hair. The black locks are growing longer on top of his head. Jonghyun nodded agree, but still filled amount of meals inside his mouth. Onew has no different as Jonghyun.
“Me too sweetie, I will talk to our coordi-noonas. Have you thought about what color suited you?” Key asked.
Taemin turned to Minho. Minho smiled lovingly to Taemin. Taemin is blushing. It seems they already discussed what color will suit Taemin and Minho loved it.
“Minho said I will always suit with honey-colored hair. I planned to dye it on the brighter honey-colored,” Taemin said shyly.
Minho nodded. Onew is stop chewing and staring at Taemin’s hair.
“Hmm, you’re right. You look so pretty on that color. I love honey-colored boy,” Onew smiled innocently.
Jonghyun is slapped his forehead and puts down his chopstick. The kitchen suddenly falls into silent. Key face is reddening. Jonghyun saw he glared Onew who was back to his stupid chicken. He didn’t realize the danger he caused. Minho is pulling Taemin closer to him in case Taemin will be in danger too.
Surprisingly, Key lifted down his head to his meal and continues chewing. Jonghyun’s jaw is dropped with disbelief. Taemin and Minho are quickly finish their meal for save their life, but still amazed with Key’s reaction. Key plastered his poker face.
“Okay Taeminnie, let’s dye our hair tomorrow,” Key said.
“Yes, eomma,” Taemin said.
Minho and Taemin were cleaning their plates and rushing to the room. Key putted down his chopstick and saw them with unreadable expression.
“Minho-ssi, I made the dessert, take it in freezer,” Key said.
Minho nodded and opened the freezer.
“Minho, I want one!” Jonghyun shouted and putted his plate to the sink.
“Let me clean it for you, Jjong,” Key said.
They are rushing to the room and slammed the door. They were knew that something big will happen to Onew who still chewy his chicken greedily. Key started doing the sink. He was finished when Onew put the plate to the sink.
Key grabbed his dessert and ran to his room. He counted to three, and Onew is calling him.
“Key-ah, where’s the dessert?”
“I ate it,” Key said without looking at Onew’s face.
“Why do you ate mine?” Onew pouted.
Key put down his magazine and glared to Onew.
“Listen to me! No dessert for stupid man!”
“What?”
“You know what I’m saying!”

So Onew poured the strawberry juice to the glass and planned to give it and he will let Key guess the brand. He walked to their dressing room. He knew that Key inside the dressing room. He slipped and fell because he didn’t notice the wet sign on the floor. The crew just wiped the floor.
He showered himself with strawberry liquid. He was surprised because Minho was inside the dressing room with Key. That was unusually. He knew that Minho and Key would never be as close as the other. Key was stared at him with unreadable expression. He didn’t scold him as usually, but once Taemin help him. Key slammed the door in front of Onew’s back.
Onew still doesn’t understand with Key today. He let a sigh.
“Jjong, do you think that Key hates me?” Onew asked.
Jjong pause the game make Taemin pouted. He smiled so wide. Jonghyun knows that sooner or later, his stupid hyung will ask this kind of question.
“Why don’t you ask him directly?”
Onew eyes were widening spookily.
“Noooo, he will kill me immediately before I finish my question,” Onew creepy.
Taemin and Jonghyun are laughing. They were back playing the game.
“I just wanted to know, why he always got a bad mood when I’m around.” Onew continued.
“Nooo hyung, he got that bad mood when WE ARE AROUND,” Taemin said.
“What?”
“Let me make it straight hyung. Key will get the bad mood when YOU AND TAEMIN AROUND HIM! It’s clear enough for you?” Jonghyun said with a big grin.

Key is busy chopping the vegetables while he is singing so soft. Onew is walking lazily to the kitchen. Key turned his head to Onew and smile sweetly.
“You must be so hungry,” Key said.
Onew is surprised. Key is talking to him!!! He uses the opportunity to make their relationship better.
“Oh yes, what are you cooking for dinner?” Onew approached.
“I have the soup for us, chicken for you, veggies meal for Jonghyun he is on diet, Minho and Taemin promised to eat anything,” Key said with a cheerful voice.
“Do you want me to help you?” Onew asked.
“Oh how sweet you are, hyung. If you don’t mind, please arrange the plates,” Key nagged.
He smiles and continues sing the love songs. Onew missed the moment so much while he is around Key without scary feelings. He is humming to Key song, Key turned his head and grinned to Onew additional voices. Jonghyun and Taemin were right, without Taemin besides him, Key is so much friendly.

“Eomma, I want to change my hair color,” Taemin said while diner.
Key is looking at Taemin dyed hair. The black locks are growing longer on top of his head. Jonghyun nodded agree, but still filled amount of meals inside his mouth. Onew has no different as Jonghyun.
“Me too sweetie, I will talk to our coordi-noonas. Have you thought about what color suited you?” Key asked.
Taemin turned to Minho. Minho smiled lovingly to Taemin. Taemin is blushing. It seems they already discussed what color will suit Taemin and Minho loved it.
“Minho said I will always suit with honey-colored hair. I planned to dye it on the brighter honey-colored,” Taemin said shyly.
Minho nodded. Onew is stop chewing and staring at Taemin’s hair.
“Hmm, you’re right. You look so pretty on that color. I love honey-colored boy,” Onew smiled innocently.
Jonghyun is slapped his forehead and puts down his chopstick. The kitchen suddenly falls into silent. Key face is reddening. Jonghyun saw he glared Onew who was back to his stupid chicken. He didn’t realize the danger he caused. Minho is pulling Taemin closer to him in case Taemin will be in danger too.
Surprisingly, Key lifted down his head to his meal and continues chewing. Jonghyun’s jaw is dropped with disbelief. Taemin and Minho are quickly finish their meal for save their life, but still amazed with Key’s reaction. Key plastered his poker face.
“Okay Taeminnie, let’s dye our hair tomorrow,” Key said.
“Yes, eomma,” Taemin said.
Minho and Taemin were cleaning their plates and rushing to the room. Key putted down his chopstick and saw them with unreadable expression.
“Minho-ssi, I made the dessert, take it in freezer,” Key said.
Minho nodded and opened the freezer.
“Minho, I want one!” Jonghyun shouted and putted his plate to the sink.
“Let me clean it for you, Jjong,” Key said.
They are rushing to the room and slammed the door. They were knew that something big will happen to Onew who still chewy his chicken greedily. Key started doing the sink. He was finished when Onew put the plate to the sink.
Key grabbed his dessert and ran to his room. He counted to three, and Onew is calling him.
“Key-ah, where’s the dessert?”
“I ate it,” Key said without looking at Onew’s face.
“Why do you ate mine?” Onew pouted.
Key put down his magazine and glared to Onew.
“Listen to me! No dessert for stupid man!”
“What?”
“You know what I’m saying!”
“But…Key-ah!”
“….”
“Kibuuum,”
“Stop calling my real name!”
“Bummie…”
“….”
“Bummie,”
“What!!!!!”
“Did I do something wrong?”
“Shut up!”
“Key….”
“One more thing, I don’t want you to sleep with me!” Key said and threw the blanket and pillow to Onew.

“Key, you are too much,” Jonghyun said when he accompany his best friend at parlor.
“What?”
“About Onew-hyung,”
“He deserved that!”
“He didn’t”
“Shut up,”
“Someone is being a jealousy bitch,”
“I wonder who that bitches,”
“You!”
“I’m not!”
“We already knew that you so in love with Onew-hyung! You will jealous like a hell when he’s too close with Taemin,” Jonghyun said.
Key gasped, but the best thing to face a condition like this is plastered the poker face, and Key did that.
“Why don’t you confess your feelings?” Jonghyun asked.
“I don’t want to. It’s useless,”
“Who knows that Onew-hyung will have the same feeling as yours?”
“Is he?” Key was curious.
“I don’t know. We just guessed it for so long. You are too close since we move in to the dorm, but you was lonely when Onew is a bit busy than us. Nobody take care of you any longer,”
Key feels that Jonghyun mentally slapped him.
“Key-goon, let’s wash your hair,” the parlor employee called.
“I hope your stupidity and jealousy will cure. I suggested you to make up your relationship with Onew-hyung. Just confess your feelings,” Jonghyun said with a grin.
“Easy for you to say!” Key blurted.
Jonghyun is laughing because Key realized he admitted the feeling to the leader. He rushes walking away from Jonghyun.
5 minutes later Key is back with water dripping from his hair. Jonghyun lifted up his head to see Key’s new hair color, and he gasped. His jaw dropped widely by seeing Key’s hair color.
“What?!” Key snapped him.
“Nothing. Hmmm you look so….d-different,” Jonghyun stumbled.
“The color doesn’t suit me, right?” Key spooked.
“No no, it’s not like that. I just surprised. I never saw you dyed your hair to that color. They are so bright,” Jonghyun spaced out.
“I wore this color when we released Juliette song! What’s the different?” Key pouted.
“Oh, Key always suited with any color, dear,” The beauty parlor employee said while he fixed Key’s hair.
Jonghyun shrugged. He continued to his cellphone.
“Key-hyung!!! I don’t know that we have a same hair color!!” Taemin came and shouted excitedly.
It’s like the string between Key and Taemin hair color for Jonghyun. He suddenly understands and bursting out his laughs so hard.
“What!!” Key slapped his head.
“OOOHHH MY GOOD, YOU DYED YOU HAIR TO HONEY-COLORED!!! BECAUSE OF ONEW-HYUNG!!!”
“HELL NO!!”
“YES YOU ARE!!!”
“I’M NOT!”
“I REALIZED THAT ONEW-HYUNG LOVE TO SEE A BOY WITH….*&^%&*,” Jonghyun mumbled under Key’s hand who quickly covered Jonghyun big mouth.
“What hyung?” Taemin asked curiously.
“Nothing, Taeminnie. It’s just, sometimes Jonghyun need to learn how to shut his mouth up,” Key said with dangerous tone.

“K-key!!!” Minho shouted surprisingly.
“What?”
“Your hair,”
“Yes, I dyed it,”
“It’s a same color as Taemin’s,”
“What? Nothing's wrong with that!”
“I know, but I thought you didn’t want the same style as the other,” Minho said.
“Oh you must be interested when you heard the reasons,” Jonghyun laughed.
“What was the reason?”
“Shut up, Minho, and eat your diner! And Jjong, do you know how it feels when I stabbed this knife on your chest? I will do that if you keep your big mouth opened,” Key said calmly.
“Why you guys always tease Key-hyung? I’m glad we have the same hair color,” Taemin said.
“Thank you Taeminnie,” Key ruffled the younger hair.
“Besides, Onew-hyung likes the honey-colored boy,” Taemin said innocently.
They fell into silent, but not too long after Jonghyun explode with his annoying laughter. Minho nodded with understanding but still hides his laugh. Key cursed his decision to follow Onew’s favorites color.
“Aisshhh!!! You guys so annoying!” Key said with teary eyes and ran to the room.

Key is crying until he felt so exhausted. He hates Jonghyun. He hates himself who really in love with Onew, the man that admire and might be love Taemin so much. Even though he dyed his hair into Taemin’s hair color, he’s still Key. Onew loves Taemin, not Taemin-wanna-be.
He locked himself inside the dark room. Jonghyun still shouts desperately in front of his door asking Key’s forgiveness. Key just felt so tired. He is crying because of his foolish decisions.
“Key, I’ kneeling in front of the door until you gave me the forgiveness. I’m so sorry Key. I shouldn’t tease you about Onew-hyung,” Jonghyun knocked the door.
“Shut up, Jjong. Just leave me alone!” Key said.
Jonghyun knew that he was too much. Key is never locked himself before. If you saw Key bursts out his temper that was meant that he is okay. But if he locked himself inside the room, that was the time that you are too much.
“Key, I’m sorry…”
“Key-eomma, Jonghyun-hyung is really kneeling!!” Taemin said surprisingly.
“….”
“Key-goon just gave Jonghyun the punishment. We know sometime he is too much,” Minho suggested.
“I’m okay Minho, just leave me alone,” Key cried.

Key didn’t know how long he was cried. Somebody’s hand is rubbing and ruffling his hair. Key mumbling unclearly about how much he missed the scents of the hands has. It takes him so long to realize that he locked the door and somebody’s inside his room. How could? Is it a ghost?
Key sat on his bed and moved to the corner of the bed to protect himself. He covered himself with blanket.
“Key-yah, it’s me?” the man voices said.
Key heart is pounding so fast. He can’t see the man face because of the darkness. Are these a dream?
“O-Onew-hyung?”
“No. Lee Jinki’s here,” He giggled.
“What are you doing?”
“What?”
“What are you doing, here?”
“I’m tucking you in. what? There’s something wrong?”
“Off course!! I locked the door. How did you get into the room if the door was locked?” Key screamed.
Onew is laughing.
“Hey did you forget? This is our room, sweetie,” Onew approached Key.
Key is spacing out. Yes, this room is supposedly Onew, Key and Taemin’s room, but Taemin always sleeps with Minho and Onew rarely sleep at their dorm. His heart is jumping out because of happiness while he heard “OUR ROOM”.
“I’m sorry, but I locked it!”
“I have the spare keys! You gave it to me!”
“….”
“So, what happened with stupid dino? He is sleeping on the floor in front of our room,” Onew asked he walked to turn on the lamp.
It’s too late for Key to hide his new hair. Onew is freezing while he saw Key’s new hair.
“Key!! Your hair!!”
Key is biting his lips waiting for Onew’s humiliation comments.
“They are… they are…” Onew was speechless with unreadable expression.
“I know hyung. This is so ugly on me,” Key bowed sluggishly.
“NO!!! YOU LOOK SO PRETTY!!!” Onew shouted.
Key jumped out because of shock.
“Really?”
“Yes!!”
Key feels so relief.
“Guess what, not as pretty as Taemin, right?” Key whispered sadly.
Onew approached him. He sits beside Key with a warm smile.
“No, you look prettier than Taemin,” Onew caressed Key’s cheek.
“Really?”
“Off course,”
“I thought Taemin is everything’s pretty in your eyes,” Key pouted.
“No, who said that?”
“No one, but you acted so lovingly to Taemin,”
Onew is smirking. He shifted his sit closer to Key.
“Is that the reason you always got the bad mood when me and Taemin around? Are you jealous?” He grinned dumbly.
“No! O-off course not!”
“Yes you are!”
“No, I’m not, but what’s your problem if I was jealous?”
Onew smiled naughtily and whispered to Key’s ear.
“Because I love you pout when you are jealous,”
Key face is red. He feels so hot in his cheeks. Onew pecks his lips. They are connected their sight.
“Oh Key, I missed you,” Onew hugged Key’s slender body.
Key is hugging the older back.
“I missed you too hyung,”
Key moved his face closer to Onew and kissed the thick lips. Onew’s hand is automatically rounds to Key’s waist. They were kissed so passionately.
“Oh!! You two just made up!! That was meant that you already forgive me?” Jonghyun ruined the mood.
Key is snorting.
“Shut up! You are the one who caused my tears,” Key shouted and threw a pillow to Jonghyun.
The raptor is save him self. He ran to his room and slammed the door.
“What’s Jonghyun did to you? Should I punish him?” Onew asked.
“He teased me! He said that I’m who trying so hard to be Taemin, I dyed my hair to honey colored hair to attract you,” Key said sadly.
“Is that true?”
Key nodded.
“Oh, that was so sweet, sugar! You are so cute,” Onew pinched and kissed Key’s soft cheeks.
“Do you like me because of Taemin honey-haired?” Key asked.
“No, I like Taemin because he makes me remember to you,”
“Me?”
“I love the boy with honey-colored since you dyed your hair when we released Juliette. You look so pretty that time,” Onew said.
Key is giggling.
“And honestly, I don’t like you,” Onew said seriously.
Key’s heart is dropping. He feels the knife stabbed on his heart. Onew’s sight is softening.
“But I love you, Key. My Kim Kibum,”
Key feels relief he attack Onew with kisses and hugs.
“You are so damn, cheesy,” Key laughed and continue his kisses.
