I've enjoyed doing
that picspam of Anneke's appearance in The Saint so much that it gave me the idea to do something similar with all the Second Doctor adventures I have on DVD - and this including the surviving episodes of burminated serials so that I can have some more Anneke (even though things will inevitably focus mostly on Two and Jamie in

And I remain strangely fond of the fish-people, but I think that's only because the first time I saw them was in that Babelcolor recolorization video, and their colors combined with the music actually looked a bit eerie. Of course, then I saw them in the episode itself...

*giggle*
Also, I love Ben lots and lots. I love how every time he hears that Polly's in danger, or might be in danger, he just goes into Save Polly Mode and doesn't come out of it until she's rescued. It's so adorable.
Thieving a few of the screencaps for iconing purposes; I'll be sure to credit you.

Oh, definitely. During most of The War Machines, he never stopped going "But what about Polly?" which annoyed the Doctor (who thought Ben should reexamine his priorities, what with the whole world being in danger) but which I found absolutely adorable. I don't know how Two managed to persuade him to let Jamie do the rescuing in this episode.

I know. It was darling how single-minded he was about it. Especially after he'd met her all of...twice. Maybe three times.
And then there's The Macra Terror, where not even being hypnotized by killer crabs from outer space is enough to shut off Save Polly Mode.

Indeed - and the moment Polly was out of danger, the hypnosis kicked in again. *pets him*
