Why not? Not only does Frazer have the ability to play a really good Doctor, but there's been quite a few examples of actors who got "recycled" and recast in bigger roles: Peter Purves played two characters (both in the same serial), the latter of which was companion Steven Taylor; Ian Marter played a minor role shortly before becoming Harry Sullivan; Lalla Ward played Princess Astra and was immediately cast as Romana II; Colin Baker shot Five before becoming Six; Freema Agyeman was Adeola before being cast as Martha, and so on and so on. Besides, it would work as evidence that everybody eventually ends up looking like those they've loved the most. :P

True, but I don't know if it would qualify as a "sane" choice. I'd go for it nonetheless... any idea if that was for panto or something else? He looks like The Pirate King from The Pirates of Penzanze (or however you spell it).

This one is definitely the "silly" choice. For "sane", we have the other two.
