thursday shopping for grannies

now as most of you know i live in some strange part of the universe, and this strange little universe has every thursday a huge market which brings the little old ladies out in force, they actually have bus espeacial for the oldies with there zimmer frames. The thing that annoys me is they go shopping in New Look!!! Am i soon to expect the Grannies

The thing with grannies nowadays is, they refuse to act like grannies! Luckily my grannies still wear traditional Indian saris, as Indian grannies should and not tank tops and high heels*shudder*.

i think gtrannies should act like my great nan.... she's a real granny..... my nan she's cool.... but she doesn't wear high heels.. she did when i first born but she wasn't even in her 50's when i was born :)

Depends how old the grannies are! I read a newspaper article the other week where a 28 yr old became a grannie! Now THAT is scary! (She had a kid at 13 and her kid had a kid at 13...you get the picture!) I intend to be a 'young' grannie when the time comes though...but even I wouldn't do crop tops and short skirts now....let alone then! However...I do intend to be an old hippy for the rest of my days, and I don't care what people think of that..because it's ME...and I am happy being me! So good on those New Look grannies I say!

you already now the disturbing tale of the old guy in a ladies vest top. probably thought he was the bee's knees. the scariest thing about old ppl is one day we'll all be one, i'll most likely be one of those moaning ones, the type that are never happy, but hopefully i'll still have the sense to distinguish between ladies and mens clothing. love u x
