i thought this was a lovely story! i love how you can feel his pain and longing but how he knows he has to sacrifice. i thought the text message was a nice touch to the fic, it seemed really "real" and it's just so heartbreaking.

i'd definitely be interested in more fic. they were my favourite pair on the drama too. it just makes me so sad jihoo gets hate and is stuck in unrequited love. thank you for sharing this x

i think i might do a series of oneshots (all set in the same timeline), some from jan di's pov and some from ji hoo's pov. i'm not quite sure where it'll start, but keep a watch out for it!

that's a good idea (to start it where jae kyung comes into the story). i actually didn't mind jae kyung's character and i think what she did at the wedding was brilliant and the way she spoke to ji hoo after was also well done, at least for the joon pyo/jan di side of things of BBF's. at the same time, D: ruins the ji hoo/jan di possibilities.

she's definitely important. kind of wonder if joon pyo had met jae kyung first how he would have reacted to her. she's similar enough to jan di that i can imagine him falling for her.

Ofcourse I love ur story. I'm always love the JH/JD couple. They're so nice for earch other. I love the way their relationship's grown up. Slowly and full of emotional. From friend to love is really a long time. But in the fic. We can make everything we want to.

Ah, I love this. I think you've captured Ji Hoo's character perfectly...especially the simmering anger/resentment under his passive, cool veneer. I also liked the way you hinted at the complications between being loyal to one's friend (but still resenting him for that) and to one's heart.

I'm always attracted to the "tragic" characters...to me the story of the love-that-could-have-been is always much more fascinating than the love-that-was.

i'm glad you liked my characterization of ji hoo and how you interpreted the way i decided to make him. he's *the* most complex character in HYD / BBF, and that's why i like him.

it's a puzzle figuring him out and that's half the fun of writing about him.
