Touch me Gently as the Rain

Aug 03, 2006 12:59

Hullo. Top of the mornin' to ya! Hope everyone is nice and free of moskitoes. Down in my neck of the woods, we've got a hurricane-storm on us, and the rain is big and mighty. Been raining all day. No winds, however, since it's not a full-blown hurricane, but it's the time of the season again! Home Depot is celebrating ( Read more... )

At least we get the nice, oxygenated rainy nights.
It's been nothing but lovely, and the heat has lowered. Greatly.

[sigh]
Yes... Zeppelin....

Thanks, Priti.
Yeah! I know how hot it is up there, mate...
I hope this heat wave is gone soon as the first hurricane over-rides us and hits Florida. Poor Floridians.

I hope you stay safe during the hurricane!

but it's the time of the season again! Home Depot is celebrating

lol

It is going to feel soo strange... only I don't have a Lorelai coming with me, and making sure I haul all my things Ok in Luke's truck.

Oh! I remember that ep now. There was a whole fiasco about the mattress right? And then they put a new one in Luke's truck.

I'm glad I could talk to somebody about sex. If it weren't for Hama and Cristy, I'd never, ever get to discuss sex in a mature way.

I enjoy talking about sexual topics. It always interests me, and I also like having friends that you can talk openly with.

2. Do you ever take the shampoos and soaps from hotel rooms?
It is a well-known Puertorrican tradition. It is expected.

Tradition? lol I feel like I just learned so much more about your culture :) As far as I'm concerned, if you paid for the room, it's yours for the taking.

7. Would you rather be attacked by a big bear or a swarm of bees?
Bees, please. Benadril me away. That's how I looked at it. I'm more ( ... )

WoW! You remember the... mattres?? Cool.
Yeah, she just moved to Yale. It's on a 5pm on Family Channel. Right after "Felicity."

Ha ha! Yeah, you pay for the shampoos... It's when your friends go by the cleaning lady cart and *grab* more... then tradition takes over, or when they hide the ones the room *has* so they can get... more. Man!

Big Log!! Ha ha ha!!! We should play that game one night, love... we have a convo, and names as much Robert associations/songs as we can. HA ha! We can celebrate with green olives!

66.First concert? Pet Shop Boys!
Oh, Neil, I'm honored, but this wasn't your first concert. Wasn't that Cristian Castro or something like that??

You got rain today? I got some light drizzle, but not down pour. All talk of hurricane and it didn't come. I'm glad, don't want all that water and the winds!

You need to get one of those mosquito net swatting thingies, so you can swat them away!

Ha! Oh, yeah, Chris!
I did... but, well. I guess my mind answered "first concert you actually paid for and had a choice in." Castro was a gift. Ha ha!

Eh? Swat them... away?
Then I'd look crazy, too!

We've gotten tons of rain and the sky's been dark, and a bit of wind. Hmm. How come... no, wait... you're in the loooow west end. No Wonder, Stevie.
