And I would have to agree with that wholeheartedly. I wouldn't say I was disappointed, but his previous album was a better effort. Are you going to the concert in August? I'm very excited about that.
i was able to use the student discount. I would not have bought the cd otherwise.
My complaint..well, observation, with this album is that every song sounds the same and it seems like he was trying to hard to do the whiny emo songs he's had success with in the past. He either should have made another record like the ones in the past, or done something completely different, and I felt like he got stuck in the middle.
No, I am not going to the concert in August. I really wanted to, but I didn't have anyone to go with and my anxeity stricken, weak, girlish figure did not feel comfortable going alone. (well, wasn't that a somewhat melodramatic description - but you get the point)
On another note.. if Dashboard isn't doing it for ya and you want a good band to check out, listen to some stuff by Mr. Vertigo. They have some downloads on their website, mrvertigo.com

and I too bought the new Dashboard album today (yay best buy discounts!) and honestly, I am disappointed. A Mark, A Mission.. was so much better.
