There are some serious pros and cons you'd have to consider. Personally, and I've heard this from older friends of mine, I generally think it's a bad idea to start a business with close friend(s) or family because it's hard to separate business from personal life. You'd have to make some really clear ground rules and be absolutely certain that you would all follow it. Otherwise, an upcoming deadline can turn into, "Well, I don't feel like doing this anymore and I'll tell mom if you make me do it" type of thing. Of course, I'm exaggerating somewhat, but you get the idea.
Good point. That's why I'm goint to dab into some experimentation first. As to what that is I haven't thought about it yet. But I agree that I have to make sure this doesn't end up like American Choppers.
The biggest problem at the moment though is getting them to do it. It'd be understandable if it's because they're considering other career paths, but at the moment, it's more along the lines of "I'm lazy" and "It'll reduce my playing time."
