Summary: Mello's back. So Nill decides he needs ramen. What better place to go?

Nill hadn’t bothered with explanations to either of the boys in the apartment when she ran out-had they even been home? ...did she even really care right now?-and the most they’d gotten was a sticky note, hastily stuck to the door as she had run out, with the most simple message in the world on it;
‘Mello is back.’
No reasonss given or times for when she’d be back, not even whether or not they’d be on their own for dinner, just that note and she was gone. Any other day, and other person, she would’ve told them herself, would’ve said she’d be back soon, but those kind of things didn’t matter when Mello was involved, because it wasn’t just a visit, wasn’t just a random get together, but he was back, he was here again when she hadn’t thought he’d be and that made all the difference in the world.
After that, she’d run straight to where Mello was, and the world seemed so much better with him in it.
The winged girl turned her head back to look at the scarred man, her companion for the rest of the day, and smiled, giving his hand a tug and leading them along. The first thing on a list of what they had to do was her taking him to Naruto’s ramen shop. He really did make delicious food.
