A/N: It's kind of like a multidrabble (^^)
Jin stared at the magazine in his hands and heaved out a deep sigh. He had always thought that Kazuya is a very careful person when it comes to his life behind the camera and would try all his best not to get his pictures taken by the tabloids, how did it come to this?
“Guess that you’re too blind in love now,” he said to himself, tracing Kazuya’s figure in the picture with his fingers.
He remembered the look on his girlfriend’s face when she handed him the magazine that morning. Curious and somehow hopeful; and as a good boyfriend, he pulled out his wide smile and said,
“I’d told you that there’s nothing between me and him.”
And when he watched his girlfriend’s face broke into a wide smile, he’d felt strangely guilty although Jin knew very well that between him and Kazuya are just love between friends, nothing more and nothing less, but…
An abrupt entrance in the dressing room stopped his thoughts and he was face to face with a panic-stricken Koki.
“Have you read the tabloids today?”
Without a word, Jin raised the magazine in hand and Koki let out a grunt, letting himself fall ungracefully beside Jin on the sofa.
“That’s the guy isn’t it?” Koki asked softly after a moment.
“Yeah,” Jin nodded his head.
“God, and all this time, I’d thought that you and him really had something going on.” Koki gave out an amused chuckle and added, “Looks like all the ‘Akakame’ hype really gets into my head.”
Jin scoffed at the remark and when Kazuya finally arrived, Jin avoided the other’s gaze.
“Ah… Kamenashi-kun we heard that you knew someone famous from Korea.”
Jin felt his heart skipped a beat by the mention of it and gave a covert glance towards Kazuya that was sitting next to him. Kazuya flashed his professional smile but Jin could catch the small glint in the younger one’s eyes.
“Yeah…”
“So how did you meet?” the interviewer was looking so excited that it irritates him a lot.
“Well… I met him during my private trip to Korea last year. It’s a coincidence really, and we just hit it off when we first met. He is a very nice person and… why are you asking about this?”
Jin could see that Kazuya is annoyed with it too but the other had covered it very well with his polite smile.
“I’m really sorry. Okay back to the topic…” the interviewer giggled, completely oblivious from the tense atmosphere in the room.
“You never told me that you’d met someone during the trip.”
Kazuya looked at him guiltily. “We’re just friends at that time…” Kazuya replied slowly.
“So what are you and him now?”
Jin knew very well, what they are and what Kazuya’s feelings towards the other are, but he wanted to be sure. What if they are just good frien-
“We both liked each other in that way…”
“A couple?” Jin brusquely asked and he could see the other flinched slightly by his tone. Jin closed his eyes scolding himself for getting riled up with it.
“I’m sorry…” Jin murmured an apology after a few silent moments.
“It’s okay,” Kazuya smiled in assurance, “It’s my fault for not telling you. It’s just…I got scared.”
“That hurts… I think that you knew me… ”
Kazuya bit his lower lip looking guilty as ever and Jin sighed softly. “I’m not mad at you.”
“So… so are you okay with it? Me and him…” Kazuya looked at him hopefully and truthfully, Jin had wanted to shake his head and said that he’s not okay with it but when he looked at the other’s hopeful expression, he forced out a smile and patted the younger one’s head.
“Yeah, I am okay with it.”
“I had a question for Choi-san!”
The said man smiled politely and nodded his head. The reporter smiled in triumph and quickly scribbled something in his notebook.
“Is it true that you and Kamenashi-san are good friends or the pictures were just a gimmick for your first movie breakthrough in Japan?”
The crowd started to make noises in disapproval and after requesting a permission to answer it; the said man cleared his throat and flashed out a wide smile.
“No, it’s not a gimmick. We are good friends. It wouldn’t be nice if people misjudged it like that. He is a very good fr…”
Jin turned off the TV and out of reflex, threw the remote away. It maybe got cracked and broken but he knew he could buy a new one.
It makes him wondered if he could buy a new heart because he knew from the pain feeling in his chest, he need a new heart too. And he didn’t even know why it had hurt so much in the first place…
End.
A/N: Yup still no akakame action in this one yet but there will be (^^) and it's longer than I'd expected and I'm quite worried with the grammar. *I'd typed it in MS Word and this is the best that I can do* so... anyone wants to be my beta reader? *flashes a hopeful look*.
and as always hope that you would like this part too. ♥ and feedbacks are love.
