Summary: Jin and Kazuya are good friends and band mates. But people around them kept on saying that they aren’t.

A/N: It's kind of like a multidrabble (^^) and heheh... finally more jin and kazuya interaction ♥
Jin knew he should have said no to Kazuya’s invitation but when he saw the look on the younger one’s face he just couldn’t stop himself from obliging to the other’s request.
“Don’t you think that this will bring good to your relationship with your girlfriend? She won’t be jealous of you and me anymore.”
He sighed… all the things he had done for the younger man...
Jin gave a covert glance at the love seat beside him. Kazuya was laughing and hitting the other playfully at what Seung Hyun had whispered. There was a dull throbbing deep in his chest when he saw the happy expression on Kazuya’s face. Jin closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
He wasn’t sure if it was jealousy, but he wasn’t mad at the younger one’s date, yet somehow… the thought that Kazuya would be leaving him and going away with someone other than him made him panic.
“Jin…”
His girlfriend’s voice brought him back to reality and he cursed himself for acting moody throughout their supposed double-date. He turned to his girlfriend forcing a wide smile but when he saw the look on her face, his smile faltered. She smiled sadly at him.
“You couldn’t only look at me anymore do you?”
“What?” Kazuya looked at him wide-eyed in shock. “It wasn’t supposed to be this way.”
When his girlfriend had left him, Kazuya had looked at him in confusion and pulled him towards the bar’s restroom. And here they are standing in awkward silence.
“I’m sorry…”
Kazuya shook his head and gave out a sigh. “What had happened Jin?”
Jin glanced at Kazuya and smiled slightly. It would be unfair for Kazuya if his problems would ruin the younger one’s date.
“You don’t have to worry. It’s my problem. Just enjoy your night okay?” he patted Kazuya’s head gently and was about to leave when Kazuya took hold of his sleeve.
Jin raised a questioning brow.
“Wait… I want to go with you.”
His heart started to beat furiously and the selfish part of him started to whisper words telling him to say yes to the offer but… when he remembered that Kazuya is happier when he was with Seung Hyun, Jin shook his head.
“You can’t just leave your date Kazuya. You like him don’t you?”
Kazuya looked at him stubbornly. “I do like him. But -…”
He watched Seung Hyun placed a kiss on Kazuya’s cheek and saw the faint blush adorning the younger one’s face as they murmured their goodbyes. He could still feel the faint throbbing in his chest when he saw their affectionate gestures but when Kazuya turned to him and had that wide, yet comforting grin on his face, Jin knew he couldn’t be happier than this.
Especially when the younger one had said,
“I do like him. But… you’ll always be my number one.”
“It shouldn’t be this way…” Kazuya murmured for the umpteenth time that night.
“It’s not like I’m forcing you to be here, with me,” Jin replied in irritation.
“No…” Kazuya shook his head. “I don’t mean this.” He gestured with his hands, referring to their current situation, lounging at Jin’s living room and half drunk.
Jin looked at him questioningly.
“It’s you… breaking up with your girlfriend.”
Jin groaned at the mention of it, and slumped down against the couch. Kazuya took a deep breath, furrowing his brows trying to focus back on what he had wanted to say to the other.
“You know if you continue keeping this pace of yours in a relationship, you’ll be growing old alone.”
Jin looked at him with a strange look on his face.
“Alone? Aren’t you going to be there?”
He knew that he was a little bit tipsy but when Jin had asked him that question, he could feel himself turning sober.
“Jin…”
“You’re leaving aren’t you? Are you going to leave KAT-TUN too? Are you going to leave us? Are you going to leave me?”
Jin continued on his rambling and when he realized that the older man was crying, Kazuya reached forward and cupped the other’s face.
“No… it’s not like that… shit… Jin…you’re drunk…” he hushed the other.
And when Jin started to calm down, the other looked at him sniffling slightly. “Stop looking at me. I’m ugly when I cry.”
He smiled at the remark. “Yeah… you are.”
“Stupid. You should have denied it.” Jin murmured.
Wiping the older man’s tears with his sleeve, Kazuya sighed softly. “You got it the wrong way Jin. I felt guilty… that you fought with her because of me. And moreover, it’s not fair that whilst I’m happy, you’re not.”
“Who told you that I’m not happy?” Jin said defiantly.
Kazuya raised his brows.
“As long as you are there, I’m happy.” Jin said in a childlike whisper.
He let his hands fall against his sides, a little bit surprised by Jin’s declaration.
“I… I… can love other people, but I can’t imagine somewhere in the future without you.” A pause, “So please don’t go to a place where I can’t reach you…”
Kazuya scoffed softly. “I told you before, that I always come to you. It won’t change,” then he frowned looking away before giving Jin a gentle slap on the arm. “Idiot, you are making me cry now.”
“We have turned into sentimental old men.” Jin commented sniffling softly.
“You’re the old man. You are older than me.”
Kazuya could hear the other scoff at the remark but didn’t say anything about it and that made him furrowed his brows in confusion. Jin likes to argue because he liked winning very much but… Kazuya peeked at the other’s face.
“Jin?”
“Thank you for being here.”
That made him smile. “Oh… you’re turning into a sap again.”
“I can’t help it; I tend to get emotional when I’m drunk.”
He smiled. “Come here. Let me give you a hug.”
Jin moved reaching out for him and embraced him tightly. He could feel the older man’s breath against his neck as he nuzzled his face against Jin’s thick locks, inhaling the scent of Jin. Jin’s presence always made him feel warm and safe…
“Jin…?” he breathed out.
“Hmmm?”
”Can I be with you forever like this?”
He could feel the other tighten his hold around him.
“You don’t have to ask… ” Jin whispered softly against his skin.
Kazuya closed his eyes and held the other tightly back. I love you…
