[drabble] A Beautiful Mess: Heart station
Title: Heart Station

Summary: Jin and Kazuya are good friends and band mates. But people around them kept on saying that they aren’t. And this time, Kazuya was the one confused.

A/N: It's kind of like a multidrabble (^^) and yes, I stole the title from Utada Hikaru's Heart Station.
“Hey…”
Kazuya glanced up and smiled at the tall man in front of him. “Hey…”
The other man took a step back, gesturing with his head, telling him to come in. Kazuya watched as the other shut the door, and when the taller one finally turned to him, he slowly moved towards the other and rested his head against his chest.
“Can I stay here for the night?” Kazuya asked softly.
He felt the tall man giving him a gentle peck on the top of his head.
“Of course you can.”
He inhaled deeply, moving closer and wrapped his arms around the other man’s waist. Warm… he thought to himself, smiling slightly, though his thoughts wandered off to Jin. Jin was warm too and his presence had always made him feel safe, but after what happened earlier that night, he didn’t know anymore.
“Is there something bothering you?”
He turned his head slightly as he felt his boyfriend’s warm arms wrapping around his shoulder. Resting his head against the other, he gave out a soft, “No.”
“No?”
Knowing the tone of Seung Hyun’s voice, Kazuya gave out a deep sigh.
“You’re going to pester me about it are you?”
Seung Hyun gave a soft grunt, as his hold around the other tightened.
“Is love meant to be confusing?”
The taller man broke the embrace and turned to look at him.
“Sometimes… I guess.”
“Meaning?” Kazuya grinned at the other’s expression and absently reached out towards Seung Hyun’s face, touching the other’s temple gently. He had always like Seung Hyun’s big eyes, especially when he had that cheeky expression on his face.
“Well… about me and you… but I know that my feelings towards you are real… and you should stop touching my face before I do something that I might regret.”
Kazuya chuckled heartily.
“You know that I love you right?” Seung Hyun looked at him almost hopefully, as if knowing what had just happened before between him and Jin.
Jin…
The thought of Jin made him confused and his heart ached. He had always known where Jin stood in their relationship but the sudden confession had made him unsure.
“Yeah… I know.”
“Good morning!”
His step stopped short when he saw the only person in the room. Jin was looking at him with a strange look on his face, before it broke into a huge smile.
“Good morning.”
Trying to hide the awkwardness, Kazuya casually walked towards the sofa and sat at the other end and glanced towards Jin, who was drinking his coffee.
“You’re early.”
“Couldn’t sleep.”
“Oh…”
Just then, his phone rings and he quickly picked it up without reading the caller id first.
“You are already at the agency?”
Seung Hyun… Kazuya gave a quick covert glance towards his band mate beside him and felt a bit relieved when he noticed that Jin was already putting on his earphones, listening to his iPod.
“Safe and sound,” he replied softly back.
“I already missed you…”
“Quit being a sap,” and realized that he had sounded harsh, he gave out a soft sigh. “I’ll go and see you later okay?”
“Okay!”
Kazuya could see the other’s expression clearly in his head by the tone of the voice, and gave out a soft chuckle.
“Kazuya-kun… I love you.”
Ah… he gave another covert glance to his side. Jin was closing his eyes as if he was already sleeping.
“I love you too…” he whispered softly and Kazuya didn’t notice that the person beside him was clutching his iPod tightly in his grasp.

Kazuya gazed at the scenery as the taxi whizzed by the street. He sighed softly remembering the conversation he had with Pi before leaving the hotel. When he had read the caller id in his phone he somehow knew what it was all about and he was right.

“Where are you?”
Kazuya turned towards the hotel living room, glancing at Seung Hyun’s figure at the couch.
“With Seung Hyun… is there something wrong Pi?” a feeling of dread somehow filled him.
“It’s Jin, can you go to his apartment and check him out? He’s kinda freaking me out.”
“What? Where are you right now?”
Pi gave out a soft sigh. “I’m still on my way there, but I’m still stuck in this heavy traffic and I know that I shouldn’t be asking you when you’re with your boyfriend… but please?”
Without hesitation he said yes and asked, “What actually happened?”
“We were talking about you on the phone and he started to talk about things, and it scared me… and I couldn’t reach him since the last hour…”

Kazuya gave out a worried sigh, remembering the way Seung Hyun had looked at him when he said that he was going to leave to check up on Jin but nevertheless, his boyfriend just smiled and gave him a chaste kiss on the lips, telling him to come back when everything is okay.
He covered his face and gave out a soft whimper. How did things become this complicated?
And he still remembered clearly what he said to Jin the other night…
“You know that I can’t say no to you Jin… but it’s too late now. It’s too late…”
