A/N: heheh lol I do said that there will be an epilogue but I think I'll continue with the sequel first... (^^) I hope that it's okay. The theme for the sequel is 'Iconic Love' :D taken from Clazziquai's song with the same title ♥
Johnny-san glanced up at them from the papers on his table and gave them an assuring smile.
“You look tense Akanishi-kun.” The older man stated, flipping the file in front of him.
Jin smiled nervously at the remark and after a few minutes of excruciating silence, Johnny-san broke the silence.
“So… both of you know very well the stories revolving around the two of you don’t you?”
Kazuya and Jin nodded their head slowly. Although it has almost been a year, many people and their fans still talked about why they had a fight before the accident. Rumors and speculations were still around and the fans were still not satisfied with what had happened.
“I have a proposal for the both of you.”
Johnny-san smiled widely.
“Give me and the fans a maximum fan service between the two of you. Show everyone that the both of you are the very best of friends.”
He then turned to Jin. “Akanishi-kun, include Kamenashi-kun in your outings okay? I want those pictures.”
“Yes sir,” Jin nodded his head as he gave a covert glance towards Kazuya, who was sitting beside him. The younger man was giving a polite smile towards the older man in front of them, but he could see the troubled expression on Kazuya’s face.
He took note of that in his head, so he could ask the other about it after the meeting, but he couldn’t help feeling a little unsettled by the other’s reaction. Acting as good friends in front of the public would be easy wouldn’t it? For they were already good friends after all… his face felt slightly warm by the mention of ‘good friends’. Jin smiled to himself and turned to look at his ‘friend’.
Still that troubled expression…
It was unsettling…

Jin stole a glance at the man beside him. “What’s wrong?”
Kazuya sighed softly and after a few moments of silence, the younger man murmured, “I didn’t like what Johnny-san told us to do…”
Jin frowned and knowing that it would be hard to talk face to face when he was driving, he stopped his car at the side of the road.
“Why?”
Kazuya gave him a small smile. “I don’t like it… we are friends and much more, but when Johnny-san say things like that, I feel like we are faking everything.”
Jin smiled at Kazuya’s insecurities. If only Kazuya knew how strong his feelings were, which sometimes scared even himself…
“You know that I love you… isn’t that enough?” Jin asked softly.
Kazuya bit his lip, smiling sweetly at the declaration. “I know…”
Jin sighed. “You know… if we weren’t here in this car by the road side, I’d have already attacked you by now. So stop looking like that.”
Kazuya gave a soft chuckle, placing his hand on top of his. “So… what are you waiting for then? Let’s hurry home…”
Jin grasped the smaller hand tightly and grinned. “Yes! Captain!”

Jin flashed out a wide grin to his friends.
“Guys… though I know that a few of you already know this guy, but it would be appropriate to introduce him proper.”
Pi was whistling at the background and he rolled his eyes at the smirk on his friend’s face. “I don’t think I know him!” Pi shouted loudly.
“Shut up Pi.”
“So, this is Kamenashi Kazuya,” he introduced, somehow feeling embarrassed. He felt like he was introducing his girlfriend.
“Kame-kun!” Kusano greeted happily, immediately latching himself onto the younger man, making Jin scowl at the sight of it and on reflex, he pulled the other away from his dear Kazuya.
“No touching.”
“Hey…” Kusano pouted. “Not fair.”
“Why wouldn’t it be fair?” Jin raised a brow, feeling slightly irritated.
“Then you shouldn’t have brought him here,” a voice broke their petty squabble. All of them turned towards the voice and Jin groaned when he realized who it was. He had totally forgotten about Atsushi.
The dark-haired man at the other end of the room already had a scowl on his face. “Why did you bring him here?”
Jin was about to retort back, when Kazuya beat him to it. “I’m sorry if I am an inconvenience to you, but this is for a short period of time.”
Eh? Jin looked at the younger man in confusion. Short period of time?
“This is for Jin’s sake… and I am fine if you don’t like me… but for this short period of time… please let me be your friend.”
Yuu scoffed, pulling the smaller figure onto a seat beside him. “Just ignore him Kame-chan. We got your back.”
“Atsushi just jealous because dear Jin here has a pretty friend like you,” Pi piped in and Jin could see that Atsushi blushed slightly at the comment, throwing a cushion at Pi in irritation.
“Shut up,” Atsushi growled softly and before Jin could throw a comment too, he could clearly hear Kazuya’s hearty chuckle and a statement, “You’re kind of cute.”
It caused his friend to blush even deeper and if he could, he would have shouted and declared that Kazuya was his and only his, but knowing that their relationship was a secret from everyone except for Pi and his band mates, Jin bit his lip and turned to glare at his oblivious boyfriend.
Sometimes, he wondered if Kazuya had really felt insecure about their relationship, but by the looks of it, it looked like he was not.
So what about that time in the car? A voice in his head asked, and before he could even feel relieved by it, another voice resounded in his head…
He never told you that he loved you anymore since that day in the hospital…
Jin gazed at Kazuya, who was now looking at him quizzically, with a gentle smile on his face.
“Is something wrong?” the younger man asked gently.
“Nothing,” Jin flashed an assuring smile. “Everything is okay.”
It is not okay…
