Kazuya chuckled loudly when he saw the look on Jin’s face as he staggered sleepily into the kitchen.
“You’re early,” Kazuya greeted giving the older man a soft kiss on the top of the head when he walked passed the other towards the sink, but stumbled back and landed directly onto the other’s lap when Jin tugged firmly at his arm.
Jin heaved out a deep sigh, and Kazuya could feel him nuzzle his face against the crook of his neck.
“I want to sleep.”
He raised a questioning brow, smiling in amusement at the older man’s statement. “So what are you doing here if you are sleepy? Just go back to bed. We don’t have work today.”
Jin only grunted in reply, taking hold of him tighter and he sighed at the childish gesture, leaning his head against the other. It had been a month since his come-back after the one year hiatus. He was grateful that his friends cum band mates still wanted him to be in the group. And life had been hectic since his return. But he was fine with it. Well, he needed to do something to compensate for his absence for the one whole year.
And his life with Jin has never been better though both of them had to keep it low, meeting in secret and even if it was just for a friendly dinner with friends other than their band mates, it would be either Jin or Kazuya that would attend the event.
They even bought an apartment together in secret.
“Jin, if you want to sleep, go back to bed,” he told the other gently.
“I don’t want to.”
Kazuya frowned at the reply. “Why?”
There was a moment of silence for a while before Jin whispered softly, “I can’t sleep if you’re not beside me.”
He stroke the older man’s hair gently, and couldn’t help but to feel guilty and sad. He knew that it was his fault that Jin was acting that way but the other kept on denying it and said that he just missed him.
“Let’s go back to bed okay?” Kazuya whispered, kissing the other’s temple in affection.
I would never leave you…
…………………………………………………….
Jin stared at the figure beside him who had his eyes closed with a peaceful expression. He smiled slightly at the thought that he was the one that had wanted to sleep but right now, the younger one was already asleep whilst he couldn’t even close his eyes.
It had been this way after Kazuya came back. Before, it was hard for him to sleep at night but right now, it was even harder for him to sleep even though Kazuya was there. He was always afraid that the other would be gone when he opened his eyes.
It was hard to trust anyone now, even Kazuya. Though everyday his younger lover would assure him that he would be always be there and won’t leave him, but after living a whole year waking up alone, his anxieties would never leave him.
He was already broken and he didn’t know how to mend himself back…
“Stop bugging me and go watch TV,” Kazuya told him off in irritation when he tugged at the other’s apron, pulling the smaller figure towards him.
“But I’m bored… and there’s nothing good on TV.”
Kazuya rolled his eyes and turned back to doing his chores whilst he just wrapped his arms around the other and placed his chin on the other’s shoulder.
“Kazu…”
The other turned slightly towards him and he extended his lips wanting a kiss and that made him receive a chuckle from the other.
“What’s with that face? It’s not cute anymore Jin.” Kazuya said between laughs, pretending not to know his gesture.
He kept on extending his lips and with a loud laugh, the smaller man placed a soft peck on his lips.
“There, happy? And stop bothering me or we won’t have anything to eat for dinner.”
Jin rested his cheek on Kazuya’s shoulder and said, “We could order and have a romantic pizza dinner in front of the TV.”
The younger man’s body shook lightly and Jin could see Kazuya’s laughing face, and it make him feel contented. He wanted to stay like this as long as he could. Getting all domestic, with Kazuya cooking his food and sometimes giving him massages like a very cute pretty ‘wife’, and he would be the perfect ‘husband’ by throwing the rubbish away and give his cute ‘wife’ all the love he could get.
“Jin… you’re poking me.”
He immediately blushed whilst Kazuya turned to his face, giving him a soft peck on the lips.
“You could never grow old at heart do you?” Kazuya teased smiling against his lips.
Jin smirked, tightening his hold around the other’s waist and whispered, “I could still get turned on even when you have already reached 60.”
The younger man snorted in amusement then gave out a defeated sigh. “Let’s just order out shall we?”
“And?” Jin’s grin turned wider, and as if knowing what he was thinking, the younger man smacked him upside the head.
“You handle that yourself,” Kazuya told him off with a smirk, pulling himself away from his grasp and practically running towards their room. Jin could hear the distinct sound of door being locked and a laugh.
“Eh? Kazuya, why are you locking yourself in the room? And you want me to handle this by myself?” Jin whined loudly.
“Serves you right, you should have stopped yourself last night when I told you to.” Kazuya answered loudly, laughing in the process while Jin could feel himself blush by the insinuation of what they had been doing last night. Jin gulped.
“Damn it Kamenashi! Stop putting images in my head!”
Kazuya just laughed loudly in reply.
“You’re cheating!”
“No, I’m not,” Jin denied vehemently flashing the other one a horrified look. “You know that I did all this just for you! Look! I even bought a hotel and named it on your behalf.”
“Shut up, Jin.” Kazuya replied crossly, “Are you aware that this is just monopoly?”
Jin couldn’t help but to grin, watching the other’s cross expression across him. “Yeah, I know that this is just monopoly but why are you so keen to win too?”
Kazuya narrowed his eyes whilst Jin just smiled, “You know… I’m saving for land now… and if I did get to buy my own plot of land would you come with me?”
He smiled when the younger one’s face turned red with embarrassment. “Stop being sappy,” Kazuya grunted whilst Jin started to scoot closer.
“We would live far away from all this, and be happy… and you can shout as loud as you want when you-…”
Jin couldn’t even finish his sentence when Kazuya smacked him upside the head for the second time that day. “Shut up you idiot!”
He rubbed his sore head, pouting slightly and gazed at Kazuya’s blushing face. But if I told you that I wanted to live far away with you just because I want you all to myself, would you be scared of me?
Kazuya turned to look at him and their eyes locked. He could live forever only watching this face in front of him. Jin leaned towards the other when the doorbell rang and that caused him to curse under his breath.
“Ah! I guess it’s our food,” Kazuya stood up and walked towards the doorway.
What a spoiler…
And just then, Kazuya’s phone rang. He raised an irritated brow when he saw who it was.
“Hello.”
“Jin? Why are you answering Kazuya’s phone?”
“He is occupied right now,” Jin gritted his teeth, annoyed by the tone Koki was using. Kazuya was his boyfriend so it was fine for him to pick it up and he still couldn’t forget the fact that Koki had known where Kazuya had been throughout the whole year, made him more irritated.
“Ah… are you mad at me?” Jin scowled at the amusement in Koki’s voice then a sigh was heard at the other line, “I’m just a big brother to him Jin… or are you mad at me because I’m interrupting one of your loving sessions?”
“What? No…!”
He hated it when Koki could read him this easy.
“I really think that if Kazuya was a girl, both of you would already have had a dozen kids right now,” a chuckle.
“Shut up Koki and why are you calling Kazuya’s phone?”
Jin frowned, turning towards the doorway. It shouldn’t have taken that long to collect their take away… he glanced at the kitchen and the room was empty.
“Hey, I‘ll tell Kazuya to call you later okay?”
“Eh?”
Without waiting for another reply, he cut the call and walked towards the doorway and when he saw the person standing at the door, he could feel his heart drop.
“It’s been long since I saw you…” the person smiled at him and he immediately reverted his eyes towards Kazuya. The younger man was giving him a sad gentle smile.
Jin cleared his throat. “What are you doing here mama?”
“I was the one who told her to come, Jin…” Kazuya replied softly.
His chest hurt. He didn’t understand anything. They were happily talking and laughing just now but… what…
“Kazuya… what’s the meaning of this?”
Tbc.
