I'm trying very hard to suppress the inevitable capslock-slamming squee of joy that I want to unleash. Simply put: it's great to have you back! Don't disappear on us again.

My advice in this matter does mean a whole hell of a lot, since girls are not necessarily my target demographic and therefor I don't spend much time chasing them. I will tell you, however, that the nice guy approach does work, because I've personally met many girls who've taken it upon themselves to do the chasing, and they usually end up chasing me under the misguided belief that I'm a "nice guy." It's probably true that you're not putting yourself out there enough, but that doesn't mean you have to spend time at clubs or drunken parties to meet someone. If anything, that's the absolute last place you want to go.

My solution: SOCIAL NETWORKING. You're bound to know a guy, who knows a guy, who knows some girls, who have a single lady friend looking for a nice guy. It is as you say: you're a polite, charming, respectful, attractive fellow and girls love ( ... )

Yeah I missed you a lot too, Ryan. I just woke up and had this urge to get back into my writing. Oh and yeah, I'm here to stay, not going anywhere this time. :-)

You know that is a very interesting point you brought up. I never thought of the idea of others not knowing I'm single. Haha. Perhaps I will try your social networking trick. Sounds pretty reliable to me.

It's awesome that you're getting back into the writing groove. It is imperative that we resurrect new_shinra28. The community is sad and empty. =(

Hey! Haven't seen you on LJ in ages!
Offhand, I can't think of any other advice that hasn't already been given:/ Guess the only tidbit of wisdom I can give is that it takes time and that you won't find them unless you go out there to find them.
And old-fashioned is good:) I've had friends who've said that's what they're looking for^^

I know, right? Yeah I lost my drive for a while, but now I'm back to do my thing again. ^^
