Hah, this thing told me I have a western accent! The furthest west I've ever been is Texas!

I know! I think this quiz has some loopholes to it. There are some words that will always sound the same no matter how heavy your accent is, like bolder and boulder. Cot and caught was a bit of a stretch too.

I had a good friend of mine take this today. She answered identically to the way I did, yet got a different answer than mine--the answer I probably should have, which was "southern!"

That could be a good thing; you don't have that southern drawl or that weird habit of slurring words together that I've seen so many southerners do, lol!

This quiz did give me a spook though...there's no way in HELL I would EVER develop a Great Lakes accent!! That would that imply that I've been in MN for too long, which would be my signal to get the f**k outta here as soon as humanly possible, LOL!
