Have you considered maybe applying with local companies and working up??

That said Glad to get a chance to see you and DeeJay without it being a random drop in to buy yet another book I don't have room for on my 4 bookcases :D

You mean like a temp thing? Or just hitting up stuff downtown or something? I know that there's a studio in Orlando, but for some reason they haven't responded to my wanting to be an intern. I didn't even mention pay or anything, and they still won't get back to me. Maybe I'm doin' it wrong, LOL!

And yes, it really would be nice to see you like, for real this time, lol!!

I have no doubt that you will do great things with your art and animation work, you are very talented and have a great work ethic and portfolio. Finding your ideal job or niche often takes time, and there is no shame in it. We've graduated with a lot of good skill in our field, but we're also still growing and learning as artists, and that's not failure at all! You're not going back home empty-handed, I'd say your arms are quite full! :)

We art school grads are all in this boat together, whether in Minneapolis or Orlando!

In conclusion, you are awesome and you should feel awesome!
