Mass Effect 2 impressions (spoiler-free)

While I've been biding my time waiting for "Dragon Age: Inquisition" to come out, I decided to purchase and try a used copy of a game I've heard many good things about, but never played: "Mass Effect 2." Again, I do recommend getting and playing the original first. I did pretty well going into ME2, but there a ton of backstory from the first game.

Apparently it's possible to form relationships and make decision in game 1 that don't pay off or resume until GAME 3 in important ways!!!!!

And apparently the decisions you make in 2 influence the Great Big Conflict in 3.

So now I plan to get 1, start from scratch, and then finish with 3. I'm still deciding whether to play male or female Commander Shepard in 1. Like many BioWare games, I liked playing as a female protagonist. Maybe because Female Shepard came across as a sensitive individualist who also happens to be a badass who occasionally pushes people out of windows. Cough. :P
