So momerat, I just heard on the radio that Chrysler intends to install wi-fi into their cars starting with either this or next model year. Get in, open your laptop, connect, and voila, intarweb!

Makes me wonder when the toaster slots in the dash will become standard features. I want my pop-tarts to go, dammit!

Wow... Awesome... this post scrolled right by without me being able to read it.
and the WiFi thing is more for traffic co-ordination (I think) than anything else.

but this is just another step towards making cars completely independent of the user... not far away from the time when we won't need to drive cars anymore.
