Very interesting top five. I should have done that, you know, by decade. That would've made things easier I think.

I had to refrain from choosing greatest hits albums, because I knew my list would consist of nothing more if I did. The Bette Midler and Fleetwood Mac greatest hits that I have are my two most-listened to albums. I actually may have to replace my Bette disc simply because it's nearly worn out.

I was torn over Greatest Hits too, as well as soundtracks, complimations, etc. That's why I said it was hastily thrown together, I already regret forgetting certain albums. I think I'll do a final draft top ten next time.

I was heavily torn over soundtracks as well. I may do a separate soundtrack list at another time, and maybe even a greatest hits list. These were all just regular release albums though.

Good call. I think I'll do likewise.

And not to brag, but don't miss my addendum, I'm rather proud of that accomplishment.

I can agree easily with Dirt, and an argument can be made for Smash. If I'd listen to more Depeche Mode I might side with you there, but I know little about them.

I also wouldn't count a greatest hits cd, especially with most of those hits being eighties hits. But you know I do love that album.

Yeah, I realized earlier that only Electric Barbarella, Serious, Come Undone, and Ordinary World came out in the 90s, meaning the other 15 tracks don't really count. And a 4 song album obviously wouldn't make the list.

You should do a list Jeff, I'd be interested in seeing what your top ten 90s albums are.
