I think it's an often forgotten fact that the United States holds political prisoners. To be exact, the United States holds over 100 people in custody, the majority of which were aprehended on American soil (as Americans) and are now being held in prison - many for the remainder of their lives - and often times for doing nothing but exercising

It's all based in fear, and one of the easiest ways to villafy somebody, or something, is to get people afraid of it. Fear has been a tool of control used throughout history, and America is no different. Plus, as a nation, we love to ignore our problems - and what's a better way to ignore something than to throw it in jail and forget it's there for 30+ years?
