I think it is indeed because of Califur's theme, the Steam Punk idea have been in my mind for a while. But what's PolyCon? They also have Steam Punk theme this year as well, what a coincidence!

Looks great! Are you submitting this for the CF art book? Or just on a kick? I really wish I knew more about vehicle design and or mechanics to draw this kind of stuff. I do love the pulp/victorian adventure genre a great deal.

Yeah, the pulp/victorian indeed sets great background for adventure genre. :P
