Flist decluttering has to be done sometimes. I left a ton of communities a while back, too, because they were totally slowing me down when going back through my flist at the end of the day and consequently made me scroll by on probably more important things because I got annoyed at some point. Being a good LJ-friend when you're busy with RL is always difficult but no one blames you for that. We all have phases like that. And I agree. Even if I have the time to actually write entries, sometimes I don't know how to put it all into written form. I've been thinking about trying Vlogs myself but until now I haven't really gotten to it. I'm not sure anyone wants to see that anyway.. XDD

Why are you so occupied with keeping your LJ interested for the ones that read it? Shouldn't it be about what you want to write?

Well, I feel like it's a little lonely if I write things nobody cares about, haha. I still only write what I want to write, but it would be nice if other people liked it too, I think :)

I'm not worried about having my face on the interweb, but I don't really have a nice webcam anyhow *laugh* Maybe somedaaay.

I agree, but you never know what might interested them and I think it's most important to keep writing your blog for you in the first place.

Nah, I don't worry about those things. For one thing, I'm doing a Journalism project with it, along with book/tv/movie reviews + real life. Even if I weren't though, my current employers are MORE than aware of all my fandom quirks. And I don't think future employers would really be that put off by a love of Doctor Who or something if I had the right qualifications and work well in the real world.

I guess I'm just not all that worried about it. Everyone I know in real life knows I'm a total nerd. There's not much else to me, in fact! xD
