Metro business: The Hotel Room!

Jul 02, 2007 16:48

This post concerns those Elsie and I are rooming with over Metrocon!

We all agreed to bring in food for meals so we could be cost effective, right? And we never really confirmed who would bring what (except Candice said she'd bring soda? :D) Elsie Little Meg and myself (big meg) determined the best idea would be to list what we need in an LJ post ( Read more... )

Hey there Bug-a-boo! XD Lil Megan here with first comment desu!

I can get the Dinty Moore meals. So far I know they come in:

Spaghetti and Meatballs (Highly recommend because it tastes pretty good)
Meat and Potatoes (Boo! Edible but kinda a risk on taste!)
Beef Stew (Not bad, tastes like...Denty Moore, lol.)

They may have other varieties, but there you have it. They're REASONABLY filling...if someone brought like chips or snacks or something, we could have that with them and it'd be good. I dunno if I could get 2 per person per day. I'm only a LITTLE Megan after all. XD

SO! I need to know how many to get. How many people am I buying for...and for how many days? 2 or 3? Lemme know, k? I'll probably shop on Wednesday (Dad needs my car tomorrow).

This is Little Megan, over and out! =D

I like the beef stew ones! Spaghetti sounds good too... I think they have a chicken and dumplings one that's decent? The chicken and mashed potatoes is not as good as it sounds, and burned my hand T__T

Anyway, I believe 5 people, I don't know if we need something for Sunday night? So two days then maybe? >__> We'll get Elsies opinion.

The potatoes are pretty decent; it's the gravy of burning doom that ruins it.

I have 6 cups, 6 forks, 6 knives, 6 spoons, 6 cereal bowls and some napkins. I raided our kitchen and somehow everything came in groups of 6. So I'll bring those as well in case we need them.

We need to figure out when to meet at Megan's house and all. Meaghan and I were talking and came to the conclusion we might have to put on wigs in the morning for opening ceremonies as well as two of the characters for masquerade. So what time should we get to the convention center and such?

By the way, I love your icon!

Ha ha ha, that's true that's true! For Opening Ceremonies at....noon...or....whenever...we'll need a couple wigs for sure. Dunno if they'll come there with them already on or not, but I would think earlier is better. If we can't chek in right away, we can at least park and just leave stuff there. I'll be on the look-out for you guys to come by my house.

Here's my address and home phone number:

Megan MacNeel
9203 Harney Rd
Tampa Fl, 33637

We're on the corner of Hwy 301 and Harney Rd. Which is alongside the I-75. You'll see it as a bridge overhead, that you'll need to go under. My house is in a fenced property with only two houses. It's nesteled between the I-75 overhead bridge, and a small bridge that goes over a canal. Can't miss it.

You can recognize the gate because we have these two...concrete...square...columns...
