The way I've set up my LJ, my posts automatically become friend's locked. After posting, I had to immediately edit it as the public post option only becomes available once you've posted the entry. It's a pain in the arse, but LJ has loads of little niggles like that.

Damn you people!!! Stoppit already! :P I meant what I said. If people on here want basic communication, they can add me on FB and remove me from their LJ. I hold my LJ far more sacred than I do FB.

No access to FB from work, but I'll add you when I get home - I think we've "known" each other for long enough :o)

I just added you, but there is no need to add me back if it doesn't seem right for you. I figured the linguistics/dinosaur/mushroom love that you implied we shared on my m_c app might be enough common ground. But I know what it is like to have to keep your private life private, and also my own journal is not for everyone. It's sort of a mess lately, honestly, and I think I might post in it twice as often as my friends can keep up with. And I almost never post about dinosaurs, mushrooms, or linguistics anymore. Just drivel about my personal life.
