Regarding the minor detail at the end of #3, yes, it is only a MINOR detail. Now, run it along the walls (or string it several inches from the ceiling?) and then maybe she won't try to kill you, as then it would be out of the way...

Nah, I think that's more big_shooter's style. *smirk*

I suspect it'd still be too much of an eyesore, and I don't believe it's quite long enough to go elegantly along its route.

Oh well. T'was just a proof of concept; I'd want something more useful for a permanent use. (Besides, we've got WiFi up in here...)

A discussion on "IPv6 in your living room" [1] brings to mind that the network connection in the picture above was almost certainly IPv6-enabled. I've had v6 connectivity at home since at least 2002 -- possibly earlier -- thanks to Hurricane Electric's IPv6 Tunnel Broker service [2].
