Hey, I just posted to this same entry at gayboys, but now that I've read a couple of your entries, I'm beginning to think that we might be a lot a like. Well, more that our lives could have been really similar if things had gone a little differently. Right... that's confusing, but I'm just trying to say we're not all that different. After the three year relationship ended, would you say that you are bitter indefinitely now? Did you expect to be however you are as a result of that break up? How do you get over something like that? Sorry for all the questions, but I had a near-breakup-experience after a two year relationship and I felt totally endanger of endless bitterness.

I wouldn't say I'm bitter indefinitely now. A bit jaded about people that have an interest in me yes.
Where I am now is where I would have been if I was still with Jason. My life might have a few minor changes.
As for getting over a break up like that. Well I'm not sure how to 'get over it' but I just kept going and tried to remind myself that I'm stronger then the break up. Eventually the pain of that experince dwindles down to nothing and when that happens you'll realize there was never a better feeling then being over something that has haunted for you for about a year.
it's good to know your perspective about this whole relationship thing is changing. not that what you thought before was bad but i think your new outlook will be healthier and...just...generally better in the end.
it's kinda cool your brother is living with you (although doens't that put a slight damper on the relationship thing?). it's good you're an awesome brother and you getting involved and helping him out is really great.
