I think it rained continuously for about a week, so I suppose we were due a few dry days.

It's not too bad here for rain. If you like it to rain every day, the West of Ireland is the place to go ;-)

i do NOT like it to rain every day, and as such will heretofore avoid the west of ireland entirely.
